Meet Randi
Food and nutrition are such central parts of life and the advice out there can feel overwhelming and contradictory. My goal is to cut through the noise and make nutrition feel clear, supportive, and empowering, so you can feel confident in the choices you make for yourself and your family.
Along the way, I’ve worn many hats:
With more than 25 years in clinical practice, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through a wide range of nutrition concerns, drawing on both science and compassion to guide care.
As the founder and director of a multidisciplinary eating disorder treatment center, I focused on integrating mental and physical well-being, ensuring that care was both individualized and deeply supportive.
As a writer in the popular press and the Managing Editor of Nutrition Today, I’ve shared science-based, practical insights with broad audiences.
Through TV and media appearances, I’ve had the chance to bring trustworthy nutrition information to everyday conversations in a relatable way.
And now, as a faculty member at Providence College, I teach and mentor students, helping future practitioners bridge the gap between evidence and real-world impact.
At the heart of all this work is the same belief: nutrition should never feel like a source of stress; it should feel approachable, energizing, and supportive of the life you want to live.
Let’s connect and explore together how food, movement, and health can bring more balance, confidence, and joy into your everyday life.
